If you are looking for emergency pet food in Islington, you don't have many options.

Angel Pets is a small store so it just sells the basics. You can find dog and cat food here, some food for birds (wild and otherwise), and some small animal cages.

The shopkeeper here was friendly and I thought that the prices were good. My pet has food at the moment but the next time I need to get him some and I'm going to Vue, I'll stop in here. Better than being caught out and having to hope to catch Waitrose.

The people in this store are so awesome, they rescue cats and are total cat experts. I moved with my cat from San Francisco recently and they helped me find the perfect litter and food for my cat to make her transition easier. They also referred me to fantastic local vet and groomer. They carry a great selection of food, snack and vitamins, including grain-free and organic (I know! My cat is a spoiled ex-Cali girl! :) ).

I needed a collar, I came out with two, plus three toys and a treat.
I had expected Angel Pet to have a poor selection, mainly aimed at cats and birds, but I was pleasantly surprised. There was a large number of collars, leashes, jackets, anti-pull harnesses, and muzzles for dogs that I could choose from, and the man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. The store may be small, but what they don't have they are happy to order for you. And if you're in need of a cat/dog bed, they have an entire wall FULL.
Good prices, good service, and no complaints when I had to return a collar that was too large. Thanks, Angel Pets!

I went there to buy supplies for my fish and as I entered I was not welcome, I felt like I was bothering them so I looked by myself for what I needed. After 5 min, no one asked what I needed, but I found it and it was much more expensive than other shops, so I left. I was not ready to pay a premium for no service at all. I won't go back.

I particularly love the excellent array of aquarium decor for small to large tanks that are displayed in the window which was my reason for dropping in (my parents have several fish that have outgrown their tank) This is a really well stocked pet shop in the heart of Chapel Street in Angel and worth having a look in of you have any pets.
