Wonderful tilttle private bar underneath an unassuming pizza place on brick lane. You need to ring ahead and it helps if you're a member. Met a few people there last night and it's a great place just to have a nice chat and be treated like a human.

The walk down to the private door in the basement is a little disconcerting but once you're in it feels like a world away. You even get fresh water with cucumbers to stave off the slightly hot bar. The whisky with fresh ginger and maple syrup was well balanced and the others were drunk enough to laugh at my bad jokes.

The place is great but but beware of the expensive cocktails!
Not a place to rave but a nice place to catch up, awesome!

Best of Brick Lane right here. Sadly, it's a members bar, which means you can't get in off the street. Good thing if you know a member though, because the cocktails are divine and the vibe is out of this world. It's what a speakeasy should be--excellent 50's music, retro shabby chic decor and a chilled ambiance.

Coolest part? Their menus are little books that categorizes each cocktail by spirit and then ranks them by 'danger' level. You get a stamp for each cocktail you try -- try them all and you get a £50 bar tab.

Favourite cocktail was the atomizer, a gin based drink that was a level 4 out of 5. Delish and deadly!

A good place for a quiet-ish, private drink, this members club is a part of the Milk and Honey group. You'll never find it, unless you know where to look, as a) it's a private member's club, and b) part of it's image is the emulation of a Prohibition-era speakeasy. The cocktails are indeed very good, and graded by strength I'd personally recommend the Moscow Mule, which was very pleasantly gingery.

Went as a group of 4 , no reservation. They no longer are members only (thank you TimeOut) but we got lucky to get a table.

The 3 stars are driven by the amazing drinks hands down.... about 9-11GBP each -- quality on par with the NYC speakeasies and every sip a delight. Little booklets are cool add on.

Music/ambience nice - smooth jazz speakeasy style.

Would have given it 4 stars..but Service needs an upgrade - they only had one bartender working on a Saturday night and was quite selective on who he decided to give good service to ...

I'd come back to bring out of towners for a stellar drink, but not sure it's a 'regular' type spot

Private club. V cool secret entrance. Rushmore group so you are guaranteed great drinks and cool decor. Very niche and lots of fun when busy. Can be quiet earlier in the week. Still great place to take friends and day of the week.
