A mummy-friend at the school gate recommended this salon. She said I had to see Jill. I couldn't get an apopintment with her so I saw Michaela instead. Es Vida do a very adequate facial. You get the feeling that Michaela could do a fabulous massage - she has "confident hands". The facial ticked all the boxes, but lacked anything special. Dermalogica ingredients. And that's that.

Absolute rubbish, the most inept staff I have encountered recently. 2 sessions into laser hair removal (both having been cancelled, worker not shown up, or rearranged), my third is cancelled again because the machine is allegedly broken. When I go in to rearrange 3 days later (bearing in mind I have advised them I am leaving the country permanently in September so need to have it completed), I am told the only person who can do it is going away on holiday 'for months' in 2 days time. Add to that the shop will be closed for a month for refurbishments. None of this was explained when I signed up, and I am not 2 sessions into a failed series of laser hair removal. Avoid this place and pay a little more to go to somewhere where the staff are able to function.

Had a warm welcome place was clean and modern decor looks professional and although I was early for my appointment I was kept waiting for 20 minutes by hot wax beautician I was made to feel comfortable whilst waiting by Gill who I assumed was the receptionist but actually had clients of her own which I thought was very nice of her to notice me waiting for so long. The hot wax went okay decent treatment rooms but the beautician seem distracted my legs were still hairy by the time she had told me the treatment was over. when I told the manager of this she was extremely rude and bolshy if you ever have to deal with her take back up as she will not back down and thinks she is right even when I have proof that the treatment was not done properly and she still demanded payment !!! I gave this review a generous 2 stars as it was a nice salon cant fault the layout and design and also Gill seemed lovely to all clients however manager is extremely rude and treatment was not done properly
