Unfortunately we had the worst experience with Noel White. He dropped the ball in every possible way. He blew us off for weeks, wouldn't show us properties that we had previously discussed ( and made appointments to view), tried to show us different properties without having access to them, drive around and have us follow in neighborhoods that we weren't looking at (nor anything available mind you!) and he wouldn't use directions. He was literally lost and we're following him. It was an idiotic nightmare. Three hour one way trip for us to get there just for nothing but a circus. Showed us one single property that wasn't even on our list. His attitude is completely off, just doesn't care. I'm beyond upset. The most inept, disorganized and unprofessional realtor I have ever encountered. We had to leave. Never again will I deal with him.

Dear GM, I am sorry your experience was unsatisfactory however I am always available to hear any complaints from customers and like to resolve them prior to a bad review on Yelp. I am not sure of your name since you have not posted who you are in your profile so sadly I am unable to make contact with you to resolve the situation. Feel free to contact management at our company and we can see how we can resolve your issue. Thank you.

My husband and I recently completed purchase of our first home in Nevada City, CA -- we worked with Ellie Watson on the purchase. She was fantastic to work with! On the ball with everything, incredibly knowledgeable, and INCREDIBLY hard working. She made herself available to answer any and all of our questions (there were many) via either email or phone call. Everything we were initially confused by in regards to the massive amounts of paperwork sent our way was broken down by Ellie and explained till we fully understood what we were signing. I couldn't recommend her more highly!

We had an excellent realtor (Mark Weyman) who passed away before we concluded our business. We ended up working with a realtor named Noel White who didn't do the job a realtor is supposed to do. He did not represent us. We were 500 miles away and depended on him to take care of the inspections and any work necessary. We depended on him to do our walk through. Our escrow was 35 days and he disappeared for ten days about 5 days before escrow closed. We lost out on any negotiating power because of this. Had to just accept it or back out after paying and investing so much money into inspections. When we arrived here, we have questions. Our realtor didn't even stop by to see if we had any questions. Which we do. BECAUSE he did our walk-through for us. We have had to hire separate services for everything and pay out of pocket just to have someone come out and teach us how to use things. Today was the last straw. Winter is upon us and it is getting cold. Our fireplace is extremely dirty and looks unsafe. We are using the propane to heat our home because we are not sure about using something as unsafe as it looks. We have a type fireplace we have never seen before. Had to hire a chimney/fireplace person to come out and hopefully clean it and explain it. However, he can't do either because there is NO liner in the chimney. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOUND IN THE INSPECTIONS BEFORE CLOSE OF ESCROW. I am shocked that my Mom and I have been so poorly represented. BUYER BEWARE. If I could do this all over, I'd use Re Max. Any other real estate office would be better. They don't even deserve 1 star here.
I have friends who are looking to buy a 2nd home up here. I'll make sure they go to a different real estate office for representation and any other persons I meet who need a realtor, I'll share my experiences so they seek a professional realtor.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I am sorry you were disappointed with the service of our office. We like to resolve these types of problems amicably with our clients through meetings, phone calls and/or emails. As Realtors, we rely heavily on our inspectors and their education and knowledge of their profession. The services we provide as Realtors is significantly different as that of an inspector. We still stand by our offer of putting you in contact with the inspectors you hired to rectify your post close issues.

We purchased a home through Kristen Garcia . An Agent at this office and I cannot begin to tell you what a great experience the entire transaction was . Everything went seamless . Kristen answered every question we had and she made us feel like we were her top priority . Her attention to detail was exceptional . She was patient and truly cared about our housing needs .. Great place to buy a home ! You won't be disappointed !! ;)

My husband recently got transferred to Grass Valley, CA and due to the fact that we were coming from out of town, we didn't have a lot of time to waste. Our Realtor Patty Bridges-Riedl' asked us many questions so that she could find homes that met our criteria. Within our first outing with her, we found the house that would become our home, she has been and continues to be amazing. The reason I say this, is the fact that we chose to purchase a foreclosure (not a pleasant experience). But Patty has stayed diligent and has continued to be our advocate to see that this process continues to move forward. We are now excited to know that escrow will be closing next week and our family can eagerly start a new adventure.

I hate to speak ill of others, but am moved to write this review so as to warn both prospective buyers and sellers about this agency, as I have never encountered such a high degree of incompetency, and that which harmed the sellers of the property I recently bought and which placed both them and me at risk. The sellers were represented by a Grass Roots Realty agent, and I as buyer was represented by a different agent, also from Grass Roots Realty. What follows are only a few examples of the gross incompetency I encountered: 1) While I went to great lengths to investigate the feasibility of building on this parcel of raw land, neither agent did anything whatsoever to help, and rather misrepresented material features of the land that could have helped the sellers greatly (namely, a driveway easement they said did not exist but which I discovered did exist, to great benefit, and a supposed setback to a drainage that was not in fact a required setback according to the County, which greatly enlarged the building area and value of the land). That the agents did not even know the benefits and facts about the land I find unconscionable. 2) Of greater import, the contingencies I took great pains to write were not presented in whole to Sellers (a 2-page document that was a legal addendum to the purchase agreement that was sent by the agents in illegible form to the sellers, with a legible copy that included only 1 of 2 pages, and hence only some of the contingencies I requested). The sellers signed the offer, legally binding them to contingencies they could not read - unwise, but nevertheless something that could have been avoided had the agents simply sent legible documents and the complete documents. When I quite by accident discovered their error, the sellers' agent admitted she did not understand the contingencies, including the most important one which required sellers to pay for half of well drilling costs in the event of a dry well - a sum that could easily have been several thousand dollars. When the sellers found out what they had signed, they said they could not pay for any well drilling, despite the legal contract to which we both were bound. In a meeting with both my agent and the sellers' agent, neither agent would take any accountability for misrepresenting my offer, and would not suggest any solution. I took the matter to the owner of Grass Roots Realty, who also would not take accountability for what was clearly an "errors and omissions" case. As the sellers were sitting on my earnest money, and as I was still in a legally binding agreement, I offered to reduce the purchase price in exchange for removal of the well contingency. The sellers accepted, costing them a loss of $5000 on the sale of their land. 3) Neither agent seemed to know or care about the remainder of legal documents and steps that needed to occur during the contingency period and leading up to close of escrow. I had to drive everything to meet the contractual deadlines. When the sellers submitted disclosures that were clearly inaccurate and incomplete, it took two weeks to get their agent to have them redone. The list goes on and on.
I finally closed on the land and the sellers got their money, but despite both agents from Grass Roots Realty. I cannot imagine how either got their licenses to begin with, or fathom how Grass Roots can remain in business with such poor staff. While my experience was with only two of many agents, given the owner's failure to accept accountability for her agents missteps, I regretfully advise any seller or buyer to steer clear of this place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Our buying experience with realtor Ellie Watson was as good as it gets. We were looking for property from out-of-town so anytime we saw a house that looked like a possibility, she'd check it out first hand for us. She went above and beyond our expectations and even when things got a little sticky at times, she was right there to "step up to the plate" on our behalf. Love her straight forward no bologna honesty. Always had our best interests in mind. Thanks so much to you Ellie....started out a realtor, turned into a true friend!

Greg and Karen Sharp represented us as buyers of a home in Grass Valley. Everything went very smoothly in terms of the offer, inspection, disclosure and closing. Based on our experience we would definitely use them again.
