I just moved here from the states about a month ago so I'm super stoked about finally discovering this place. I've tried a few others but they all weren't too hot.
I was a little hesitant about trying honey garden out after reading a previous review. I don't know what that person was thinking but I
have nothing but good things to say about honey garden.
The receptionist was super friendly and so was the girl waxing my eyebrows(Fransiska). She also did a great job at it too. Plus the interior of the place itself is modern and cozy. I loved it!! Thanks for the great job guys!
Maybe next time I'll gather the courage to try a Brazilian.

The sugar waxing is really less painful than normal wax and with the bikini zone this is for me soooo important. I have been using this studio for over 3 years now and am still very happy with service and price plus the fact that they always accommodate me with an appointment albeit sometimes on very short notice. They know me and greet me always by name and this is also very good customer relationship. The receptionist gentleman is great and so professional.

Nie X.Hamburg, Germany0113 Jan 2016Not so happy this time. I tried sugaring, but most of the hair on my upper lip did not remove from the root, they just broken like shaving. I can see it clearly. The lady told me this is because they are not long enough. But the problem is why one side was OK, but the other side was so bad?

thanks for your review.
I remember your visit very well.
You asked if we have student reductions...and where quite dissapointed as I told you, the reductions are in Wedel and not in Hoheluft.
It's really a pity you did not tell the front desk that you where dissatisfied and that there where hairs left, before you paid.
At the front desk your only concern seemed to be the student reduction. You where really quite persistent about this student reduction, in a nice way ofcourse :-)
Had you pointed out that the job was no good, we would of course had offered a solution.
You paid, so you have every right to get the full service.
If you still want us to so something about it, just give us a call.

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal da und ich war sehr positiv überrascht. Das Studio ist sehr angenehm eingerichtet und das Personal ist freundlich. Ich wurde einen tag vor dem Termin per sms und email erinnert.
Ich hatte mich für intim body sugaring für 35euro entschieden. ein stolzer preis und es tut beim ersten mal ordentlich weh, aber die Dame die mich behandelt hat hat mich super abgelenkt und ich hatte trotzdem spaß! Ich geh auf jeden fall nochmal hin :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 
Qype User (HH-new…)Hamburg, Germany02222 Apr 2013Lovely friendly staff, always friendly, discreet and always helpful. Tried both waxing and sugaring the ladies know what they're doing. (Obviously, those with more experience are better than the newbies). I've already booked my next appointment though it's always easy to get one at times I've requested (after work or at weekend) and the option of booking appointments online is also great! Prices are also relatively good so I'll definitely be paying the honey garden another visit!

i will start with the positives, which were few: they were the only place i have been in hamburg that actually did take me as a walk in appointment (i was only looking to get a lip wax). also the man at the counter was very nice in the end, i think he was the owner. however when i first arrived he could not tell me how long i had to wait.... i was like "just a general idea?" and he was like "just sit down and ill make you a tea". then the woman who was going to wax me came out. she was very awkward and not to be mean but she had a pretty bad moustache, i should have known then not to get a lip wax from her!!!! when we got upstairs she explained that she didnt have any wax in the room and would have to thread instead (what?????) but i just wanted to get it done so i obliged. it took much longer than waxing and hurt a hell of a lot more. then they were gonna charge me 3 euros more since i didnt get the wax..... in the end they gave me the wax price. they need to get their service together and also make sure there is wax in the waxing rooms!

Wow!
Just about half an hour after 'Sarah B.' left our salon there is this review.
Well:
- 'Sarah B.'came without an appointment. We work by appointment.
- Although we where fully booked I said it would only take a moment and offered a tea. Sarah wanted a clearer time indication, but that was just not possible, since I can't foresee how long the girls will take exactly for their treatments. Also, Sarah did not have an appointment and we where fully booked, so it was just a matter of waiting for an opportunity.
- There was no time to drink out the tea (that's how short the waiting was). In fact the tea cup was still nearly full as the girl took her upstairs.
- The treatment (including the way up- and down the stairs) only took 9 minutes (from 11:48h till 11:57h and we normally calculate 15 minute for upper lip waxing...as it also says on our price-list), so that really is not "much longer".
- The girl that did the threading does not have a "bad moustache".
- The treatment took place in a room that was not in use at the moment, so 'Sarah' did not have to wait for the other costumer to leave the other room. This as Sarah seemed to be in some kind of hurry. So we thought we where doing her a service, not having her wait for the other costumer to leave.
- Threading is a traditional and very effective way of depilation. But of course one can always say "No thank you, I want it done with wax!". I'm sure the girl would then have gotten the wax from the other room. It is not unusual for the girls to burrow waxheaters from other rooms, when theirs is empty.
- No one was trying to get 3 Euros more. As I noticed Sarah's reaction over the price, I simply asked the girl if she informed Sarah about the price difference. When she told me she had forgotten, I charged the wax price. There was no discussion at all over the price.
I thought we where doing Sarah a service by 'squeezing' her in, although we were fully booked.
Obviously it would have been better had we said "No sorry, we are fully booked! You can get an appointment for next week". But somehow I suspect that Sarah would then have complained that it was bad service that we could not squeeze in even an upper lip and that she had gone all the way for nothing.
