First stumbled accross La Bonbonniere when my dad sent me to buy chocolates for my mum for Christmas a few years ago. Heading down towards Rive to catch the tram home, I noticed it and decided to give it a shot. And we've never looked back!

My mum, like me, is particularly fond of good quality dark chocolate with subtle but interesting flavours, and for those, La Bonbonniere is the best we've ever found. The chocolate truffles and pralines are amazingly good quality, with rich and deep tastes that mean that one is enough, but you can always manage a second if it's on offer! I've also had the chance to try some of their dark chocolate bars, and the quality of those was equally impressive.

Not the cheapest of chocolaterie in Geneva - but by no means the most expensive, and, in my opinion at least, one of the very best in terms of quality for money.
