This venue is located next to the Grand Hyatt and the mall/theater. There are several levels that serve as lecture halls and exhibit sites besides having displays throughout the gallery.

Staff are organized and friendly to a point. The bathrooms are clean and the overall condition is very good. Beats going to another site that is out of the way and in poor condition.

Insofar as convention centers go, this one is one of the nicest I've had the opportunity to visit. That said, it has some of the most serious security (which can cause for delays) and includes a mall (with very fancy stores and a nice restaurant area).

The Grand Amphitheatre includes seating for around 3000 and is where many special events (including concerts and conventions) are held. The convention center includes lots of rooms that can be used fur a myriad of purposes and the building architecture is really quite nice. The shopping is quite good and as the building is connected to the rail, metro, and has bus stops nearby it is easily accessible. There is also a parkade.

We stayed across the street from Le Palais de congres at the Le Meridien on our most recent trip to Paris. I was confused as to what this place really was until actually exploring it during the course of trip.

This is a multi-purpose space that consists of a shopping mall, movie theater, concert hall, and convention/event center. The shopping mall itself is a little sad and depressing, random stores throughout that were not even open while we were there. (There IS a small Sephora and a GAP inside though).

Otherwise, the basement level has a PAUL bakery/cafe/patisserie that is pretty amazing. (Of course all bakeries in Paris are amazing!!) They have a variety of breads, croissants, baguette sandwiches and espresso drinks. Next to PAUL is a fantastical gourmet supermarket full of funny and delicious goods. It was fun going there every morning to bumble around. They also carry gifts from local places such as Fauchon or Maxims if you are short on time to go buy them from the stores.

While we were there, the movie theater was premiering a Bollywood movie and the theater was dolled up to match the theme. They even had people dressed in the traditional Indian dress in the lobby and stairwell. Also there was a college fair on the 2nd floor while we were there. RANDOM.

The basement level has direct access to the Paris Metro. Porte Maillot station, Line 1.

I didn't know until our last day that this place was also a concert hall. Michael Jackson and Madonna had performed here in the past!

I stayed at Le Meridien Etoile, which is conveniently across the street from here! The subway is also under that building so it was perfect for us. There a lots of stores in there for shopping, as well as, a very expansive market that provided fresh fruits, deli, hot foods, etc! My boyfriend and I came here a lot to buy drinks to try and snacks for our hotel. Everything is in here if you need to fulfill your shopping desires, to see a movie, check out a concert, and also an event center. Would definitely explore here if we had more time :)
