Loire Vélo Nature

Beware of this company. We arranged for bikes through our hotel in Chinon and they charged us 3 days for 48 hours of bikes. Our hotel already had some bikes turned in for them, so they did not even have to drop them off to us. We were not able to start till the afternoon and we knew we would be returning them at the end of the morning in 2 days, but they insisted on charging us for 3 days. We followed up with them by email afterwards and they did not even reply. On top of that, the gear shift on my husband's bike did not work. There are other bike rental companies, so I highly recommend you try something else. The biking itself is beautiful and the trails well organized, but avoid Loire Velo Nature if you don't want to get ripped off.
