Located right across the street from the Chinese embassy in Berlin. This place doesn't shy away from offering an full authentic tri-lingual menu (ZH, EN, DE) in a refined atmosphere. The menu seems to feature Sichuan, generically northern Chinese and Peking style dishes.
We had two Sichuan dishes and a beef noodle soup. I can only rate the food taste and authenticity as middling. Graded on a US scale, I would say their food is among the lower half of Chinese restaurants serving authentic Chinese food. Don't get me wrong. The food is more than edible and was a genuine attempt at authenticity. Maybe the large broad menu is stretching the skills of their chef a bit too thin.

Don't know if it was because the table I was with we were all American or what, buttttt not a good experience. We were there for 2 hours total, 1 spent waiting on food that was brought out all separate times, we were patient though. But then when we wanted to get our check no one would help us. Waited for atleast 30 minutes & then we're greeted with attitude. Also to be asked about a tip & made my husband sweep up rice with a HAND broom. Very degrading. Unprofessional would never recommend to anyone :)

I can only confirm the many positive advices already posted here. The food is great but, watch out, this is by all means not the cheap Chinese you might be used to. Prices are most reasonable for the quality you get (moreover considering that the location is in a posh area of town) but definitely not cheap.
Just considering the dishes in the menu is indeed a pleasure and the only problem you will have is choosing one they all look great in the pictures! Me and my wife discovered the restaurant by accident on our trip to Berlin!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gerry S.St Paul, United States13719 Jul 2015
Our first night in Berlin and we were hungry for Chinese, and Yelp pointed us to the Ming Dynastie. I was not hopeful at first, since it is inside a shopping mall, but I was pleasantly surprised. First off, the menu is HUGE. Like 16 pages huge. My mom had the shrimp with vegetables and it was awesome. Shrimp were sweet and succulent, and not rubbery, and the veggies were fresh. I had the beef with black pepper sauce and it was just spicy enough to be wonderful. Prices are a little high for Chinese (our bill for 1 shared appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 pot of green tea and 1 beer was about 40 euros), but the food was so good, we didn't care.

We took one of the three courses meal: hot and sour soup (it was ok, nothing fancy), a plate of sauted beef, chicken, shrimps and mushrooms (totaly bland, utterly disappointhing) and a fried banana for desert (haven't arrived yet so I can't tell you how it is). Service was ok but the waitress wasn't too nice, no one asked us how our dishes were. All in all I wouldn't bother coming here again.

I have been to Ming I many times (which I can also recommend). but I happened to be in the area of the Europa Center last week with two visitors from the USA, so I thought we'd try out Ming II.
We all shared the famous chicken feet (surprisingly delicious), various Dim Sum's followed by Peking Duck. Stupendous. Not exactly cheap, but tasted really, really good, the best Peking Duck I have had in a very long time. Also, no shortage of the accompanying pancakes (and they don't charge extra if you want more, like in other Chinese restaurants I have been to). Service is competent, helpful, witty and really friendly, thanks to our young, cosmopolitan waiter. (I have never met an Asian who can even communicate in Hebrew, English of course was no problem, and of course absolutely perfect German too. Very useful for out-of-towners.) In fact, the place was full, a good mix of tourists and locals, including some Chinese, which is a good sign.
I have read that the buffet is also really good, so I plan to go and try that some time too.
Ming II rates for me as one of the best Chinese restaurants in town, and I can't wait to go again to have the Peking duck!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (shangh…)Berlin, Germany127 Aug 2011
Even though the food is a bit pricey, it's very yummy. The best thing about the restaurant is the SERVICE! Friendly, helpful and you even get fruits after the meal, just like in China. I'd definitely recommend it!

We really enjoyed the restaurant. The service was good and the food tasty. The menu is quite extensive and it may take you time to choose!
