      Yay! Love this place.

Have been several times, yes its a chain but staff are always helpful and smiley which isn't always the same in every branch.

Quick and friendly service and normally politely right mistakes when made.

Had a light(er) meal yesterday, 3 chicken wings, fries and olives. After ordering they realized they didn't have any olives yet (it was a Sunday evening fair enough) so quickly righted it by offering hummus and pitta instead; all washed down with a house rose.

Chicken wings were great and hummus and pitta which arrived first (even after saying can it come with all the other tables food) but ah well.

Everything was great, rose was really nice and it was the house one- result!

A lovely waitress came over and explained, in case I hadn't been told (I hadn't) that there was a 10 minute wait on chips, which I said was no problem.

Probably about 20 minutes went past and we'd all eaten and I wasn't hungry anymore.

After cancelling said chips, as I wasn't hungry (they offered for free) they gave me my money back no problem, easy enough.

The manager then came over and offered me a free takeaway dessert of my choice! Unexpected but great surprise and showed their levels of customer service.

If I had been a really pinicky and fussy person I perhaps would have bought it down to 2, but I've been to loads of other Nandos over the years, which have all been fine, the food always tastes great and normally you never have to wait long for it.

It is what it is, you order you food at the bar, they deliver. Nothing fancy or special and they don't pretend to be anything else. Will always come back for a cheeky Nandos :)

Not a regular here but it's ok food at a reasonable price. Chicken and chips on a peri peri theme, not much to go wrong. Food wise its value for money but the attention to the interior is neglected, it lacks atmosphere and you could be forgiven for thinking staff don't want to be there. Affordable shouldn't be miserable.

If you find yourself wining and dining in Nandos quite frankly you should not be wining and dining outside your own home with a bottle of Lambrini and a tin of beans....because that would be a classier option.

I dint care that some may say it has great chicken that tastes really good ...that my friend is the the additives that are pumped in. If you need Nandos in your life its time to step back a reassess everything.

Consistently good! Got the hummus to start and a butterfly chicken with mash and corn.

I love that Nandos can make eating out affordable, tasty and somewhat of an occasion all at once. Let me explain...

      It is affordable because:
      Menu prices are very reasonable.
      Drinks are refillable.
They do loyalty cards for every piece of chicken you buy (you get rewarded with a whole free chicken - that's what I'm talking about)
20% off for NHS employees (schwing!)
      Meal deals/Platters for larger groups.

      It is tasty because:
With Nandos chicken, you pretty much know what you're getting, there aren't any surprises, and that makes for a lot of satisfied customers. Plus they have quite a variety of sauces to choose from, that there really is something for everyone (even vegetarians!).

It makes eating out somewhat of an occasion because:
When I think of places that I can eat out with my student friends, options are limited, our stingy wallets don't stretch very far. Quite often we resort to fast food, good old Wetherspoons or similar pub food. But with Nandos I feel like I'm eating out at an 'actual' restaurant, at no extra expense.

I ate at the Fallowfield restaurant for the second time last night: my friend had earned himself a free chicken that he was kind enough to share with me. In short, I had a lovely evening. The only thing I will say is that you can only book a table for groups of 8 or more, which was slightly annoying when we turned up and had to wait 15 minutes for a table, but there IS a seated area where you can wait, which is better than standing up I guess.

They do take-away as well which I discovered the other day! Will be taking advantage of that very soon. Oh and I recommend the olives for an appetizer - they are rather scrumptious ;)

One of the better Nandos in Manchester! You can always get seated and there's tonnes of space; parking isn't great but then you can always be a bit cheeky and utilise the sainsburys next door :) Staff are super nice too - on my most recent visit I was offered a free starter just for sharing their Facebook page! It's far and away better than the Parrs Wood one which is always just so so busy. Highly recommend the new quinoa salad and sweet potato wedges too!

If you don't find yourself in Nandos wondering what you are doing with your life, mentally chastising yourself your the choices you made that lead you to this point, slumped low in your chair realising that you can't eat another bite as everything tastes sour when garnished with regret then i can only assume that you do not go to Nandos.

In theory, I should love Nando's. I love spicy chicken, I love chips, I love refillable drinks. But somehow Nando's doesn't quite cut it. Don't get me wrong, I have never had a particularly bad experience at Nando's, but equally I have never had an exceptional experience there. It works that middle ground perfectly.

The food comes quickly and is always tasty (you can't go wrong with Piri-Piri EVERYTHING), and I do enjoy the chilled out vibe of sorting yourself out with cutlery, drinks etc.

A fairly recent addition to the menu has been to add an option of grilled Halloumi to list of extras you can have on your burger. Being a Halloumi lover, I couldn't be anything other than overjoyed with this. A Piri-Piri Chicken Pitta with Halloumi is a god-given cure for any hangover!

      I do like Nando's, I just don't love it.

I agree with Lauren here, this Nando's is great and I've never had a bad experience here. The only time something went wrong was when I had to send a meal back, the response to which was to give me a voucher for two free meals and a bottle of wine.. not too shabby.

Again, Lauren makes a good point. People aaalways say 'it's only chicken and chips.. quite pricey for that' but it's a lot more. I've tried using the marinade at home and it's quite simply not the same. I get the same meal every time - a medium spiced chicken burger with cheese, a side of chips with the peri-peri spice and a perinaise dip (mayonnaise with the peri-peri spice). Taste sensation.

To be honest it's just simple food done well and there's something for everyone, vegetarians and meat eaters, spice lovers and the more mild among us. The service is always quick and the staff are helpful and friendly. It gets quite busy in the evenings and at weekends so go early if you don't want to wait but there's always a fun atmosphere.

Oh and definitely get a loyalty card to collect free meals.

Yes, Nados is bad, just as bad as MacDonalds or seal clubbers and maybe even worse as it pretends so well at being all nicey nicey with it's little wise slogens on the walls and painted chicken murals. Sorry my chicken loving friend, but everyone with half a brain doesn't believe you're best mates with Mr Cockerel as you must kill about 3 billion trillion of them every week. But, I'm stlightly ashamed to admit, I like the chicken here and I've got a take out from here on several occasions, there I've said it!

So, whether you love or hate the Nandos ethos, or lack of one, I dare you to try a piece of bbq-esqed chicken from here and not love it. It's so wrong, but so, so right. I'm not ever going to read about where these chikens come from, or what's in sauce as I don't want to ruin the illusion that Mr Cockerel is happy to be persecuted by the big bad Nados.
