The sushi was fresh and the rice was moist and stuck together nicely. We were greeted when we arrived, Pepsi products only. The conveyor belt wasn't full and the chefs were a little curt. There was one more person eating during lunch times. The salmon roll was rolled messy but it didn't impact flavor.

Went for lunch and the sushi was high quality for a track sushi place and tasted good. Reasonably priced, and very good service. I would go back here again. I was very pleased with my experience. Most track places in the area aren't very attentive with service. But this place was which I appreciated. It's a small place kinda tucked away. But I really enjoyed it here.

We were on the last part of a 5hr drive and super hungry. We found this place on our route and stopped in. The lack of customers at 4:30pm on a weekday should have been the first indication, but we gave it a try anyway. The belt was full of food and only one other party in the restaurant. I pulled my first selection, a dynamite roll (supposed to be hot/warm), and it had clearly been sitting at the least but very likely microwaved. I could see by the color of the sauce and the opaque color the rice was taking on. When I asked for a fresh one, they said they'd warm it up for me. When I told them I didn't want it reheated and that I'd like a fresh one, it was clearly a chore they weren't willing to take on for me. They said there are plenty on the belt and they made it all fresh for "the dinner hour". The hamachi was super fishy according to my husband. RED FLAG. The peanuts on the sweet chilli roll we're soggy because the sauce had sat on it so long that it wasn't even visible anymore, save the chilli flakes. The rolls with avocado thinly sliced and laid over the roll were oxidizing amd turning brown. Every hot/warm dish was either cold or already had been microwaved. I watched a guy in the back come out and collect the spring rolls, take them back, warm them up and put them back on the belt. I won't be taking my chances here and recommend the same to everyone reading this. The edamame was fine. Cold, but fine. My husband had no complaints on the salmon but the red tuna looked old and dried. The rice on the reheated plates was crunchy and the attitude of the "service staff" was not customer focused, that's apparent. Almost $100 for about 5 plates each after tip. I would recommend against eating here.

This is definitely my favorite sushi train style restaurant. Really great sushi and a good selection. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be there often. Thanks for the great food and amazing service!

Took to go since didn't want to eat inside during covid. Easy to call in my order and was ready in 10 min. This is yummy sushi. Good prices, tasty sushi.
Minus one star for the smaller portions compared to other belt sushi places. For instance, the shrimp tempura was only two pieces, no veggies.
The poke salmon was good but not that much salmon, mainly veggies.
Great fresh taste and happy to try this place out!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 22 May 2021
This place is quickly becoming my go to quick sushi fix. You cannot beat the price either!
This time we ordered:
-Baked mushroom 5*
-Cucumber salad 5*
-Miso soup 4*
-Caterpillar roll 3.5* too much rice barely any unagi and a little dry
-Vegas roll 3.5* I don't think tempura anything is good to-go but we tried
-Seared salmon roll 5*
-Tataki roll 4* fish was a little dried out and thick expected a more raw tuna with the crusted pepper edge but this was our first time trying it
All this for $20 ish
The mushrooms were just loaded and really hit the spot!! The seared salmon roll is our absolute favorite. This time we tried a few more but to be honest we would have been totally fine with all seared salmon rollsHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 10 Jan 2022Updated review
Years later, still good. The rolls are fresh and varied. The Vegas roll still is my #1 but there is always something interesting to try. I suggest the jalapeno poppers! Prices are totally reasonable.
Service is also polite and quick. Restaurant is always clean. It may not be "authentic" but it's 5 starts for conveyor belt sushi for sure. We drive past 3 other sushi joints to come here.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 07 Jun 2015Previous reviewGone are the $1 plates and the $1 entrance fee. Now everything is either $1.25 or (more commonly) $1.75. I'd been noticing prior to this change the quality/quantity had been on a steady decline. Now that it's a bit higher in cost, the quality and size of rolls is back to pretty good for a sushi track.
Note - they are now closed permanently on Sundays!23 Nov 2012Previous reviewSo in Hillsboro there is this doofy strip mall that seems to be where restaurants go to die. I mean, it's oddly placed, the driveway for it makes no sense in the set up and...I've been in that strip mall strictly ONCE since I've been in Hillsboro (about 4 years).
But I'm a sushi junkie and my boyfriend is not - I've calculated it and I want sushi 9x times more than he does ever. The conveyor belt style is a good solution so he can just pick whatever floats by instead of ordering and being disappointed. This place is brand spanking new and I hope it's around awhile.
First off, the decor is gorgeous. That usually means dip and s**t to me, but when I'm already digging a place I notice these things. They have two large screens at the bar itself with a movie or sports playing.
Now to the food - first off, it was a little bit before dinner time (or on our weekends, lunchtime!) but the belt was full of choices. And guess what? The plates are $1.75 regardless of whatever. Oh, well now it's just time to go to town.
Each roll was completely fresh & very well prepared. From the rice, to the veggies, to the fish - fresh, fresh FRESH. There was a variety of rolls "rolling" by (see what I did there) & the sushi chefs checked in frequently if you wanted to order anything. Oh! And unlike any other sushi conveyor belt place, their tempura had shrimp. Yes, shrimp AND veggies. What.
Service was spot on, almost a bit overbearing (but I will cut them a break since they are new). When I swiped a tempura dish, the waitress asked if I wanted some tempura dipping sauce (has never happened before at any sushi place ever!!!) and refills were quickly offered on our sodas.
Like I said, happy to have a new sushi joint & will be back. As much as my lovely boyfriend lets me or I go by my dang self! - Shawn C.Beaverton, United States22202143 Mar 2023
Inattentive service, poor food quality, and mediocre selection - and that's judging by conveyor belt sushi standards! Had to try on multiple occasions (lunchtime) just to ensure it wasn't an off day, but everything was consistently bad. I've never seen so many employees appearing to work, while almost no dishes are produced and the quality of what does come out is borderline inedible. Cold and mushy hot food, dry rice, texture-less and poorly made rolls, pathetic fish quality (even with low expectations), and just about any other complaint. I won't name names out of courtesy in a review, but there are much more serviceable cheap sushi joints in the area. At least I didn't get sick.

The service and food have seriously went downhill. When they first opened, rolls on the conveyer were good and appeared fresh. Today the rolls were warm and didn't seem recently made.
I did pick a few good rolls and was happy with my selection. Until I had a spider join me from the conveyer. He crawled towards me and and when I mentioned it to the staff, she simply grabbed a napkin, reached over my sushi rolls, and squashed the spider. Balled the napkin up and acted like it was business as usual.
I immediately asked for the bill and several uneaten rolls on the plates.
There was no I'm sorry or let me make you some fresh rolls. Then when the older woman came to the register, she seemed annoyed that I refused to eat with the crawling guy. Her attitude was less than delightful.
I paid the full bill but I will not be returning.
The original owner and her sons are truly missed.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - 50001804119299 Nov 2019Updated review
I was on contract at an office right next to this spot and a work buddy kept insisting that we give it a go. First I tried the take out which was okay. Like, I could eat it but seriously for the prices they are charging it seemed less ok. The next visit, I actually went inside and was just flat out angry.
There were three staff members we could see and there were two other customers besides us. This totaled four people eating. The staff ignored us for almost the entire hour we were there. This was bad enough but then the sushi chef started mopping up everything in his area with bleach. I know that it's a go round but there were five plates which looked like they were rotating all day long. Apparently there is no one to get me a refill of lemonade, let alone some food I actually want to eat. And now i am inhaling bleach....okay, thanks bye. I've had some tragic restaurant experiences before but this place made me legitimately wonder how they stay open.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 025 Aug 2019Previous reviewLong hours at my new office means trying out places around the area. So, my order was to go. Placing the order was a touch challenging and I had to call back because they disconnected. They were also out of yellowtail so I switched everything over to salmon. They did not have any low sodium soy sauce to go. They also did not include wasabi though I asked specifically for it - I honestly want the wasabi more than the soy sauce. The sushi itself was okay but nothing to write home about.
