I bought my skis and boots there about five years ago. They have been great equipment and I was extremely happy with the fitting.

After skiing a week one of the buckles on my boot came loose. I went into Sun and Ski in Gaithersburg, MD. They replaced the buckle while I watched and did not charge me for the service! I apprecaite their willingness to repair the boot in a super fast manner, and then not even charge for it!

Pretty straightforward place. This ski shop is one of the few in MD. It's located at the end of a strip mall and pretty unassuming. I got fitted and bought my ski boots here. I also had them attach my bindings to my new skis. It took a little less than a week before I could pick them up. I also brought in my husband's skis to get waxed. Prices are reasonable. The guys helping me were friendly and gave some useful advice on what equipment to get given the type of terrain I'd be on.

You all are the best. I recently came in to get new snowboarding boots after having some issues with rentals. Turns out, thanks to Sean's help, that I was way off in the size I thought I needed. Sean helped me figure out the right size and type of boot I needed. He was so helpful. I've gotten all my ski boots and skis (former skier here now turned snowboarder) and all my kids gear from you all in the past and am grateful to have this store and its amazing team so close! Big thanks to Sean as well!!

I went in to buy snowboarding gear. I'm a beginner and Kat was super helpful guiding me through what I needed. They have a huge selection and top notch service! I got a burton jacket from them years ago and it was worth every penny. The quality is so good I still wear it to this day.

I am a former PSIA-AASI snowboard instructor and have been visiting the Gaithersburg location to rent ski equipment for myself and my young daughter who is learning to ski this season (2023-2024). I have found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The service has been excellent, the prices and policies have been very reasonable and the rental equipment has been in excellent condition. Thanks to Zack and the rest of the crew for a great experience!

Great service! Honest business!! I purchased an Obermeyer ski jacket at full price and less than 30 days later it was on sale 25% off. I brought it back in and they refunded me the difference. Love the selection and customer service here!!

Drove down this evening from Frederick and got there at 6:35 pm. Sign on door that they were closing early at 6pm due to icy roads. No icy roads on my 35 minute trip. They must live in Alaska.

I went into Sun & Ski yesterday to check out their sale on ski's and boots. Liam was an awesome salesman and so knowledgeable. He was patient and helpful. He brought out many different options for me to try and really got to know my skiing style to help me find the right skis and boots. I appreciate the whole interaction and am glad I chose to go to Sun & Ski.
