The Famous

Although I love the bars in Studio City, I think I may have just discovered my new favorite spot in Glendale. I met a few friends for drinks last Friday @ The Famous, which is located in the heart of Glendale. I ordered my regular old fashioned with Makers Mark. The bartender perfected my drink both times. This is the perfect bar to go to after dinner, before calling it a night. Their music was upbeat and I loved the ambience. The servers were attentive to all guests and extremely prompt in bringing out the drinks. Their prices are fair and service is superb. Now that I've been to this bar, I know I'll end up going back again.

Best cocktail bar in the city hands down. Beautiful decor, great fast. Friendly staff. Delicious drinks. Huge whiskey selection. Amazing tequila selection as well from Don Julio to Fortaleza. This place is popping every Friday & Saturday. DJ every Friday & Saturday starts at 9pm. They also got karaoke every thursday at 9pm.

I recently hosted my birthday party at The Famous, and it was a refreshing PRE COVID experience. One of the things that impressed me about this bar was how easy it was to communicate with them through Yelp. They were accommodating and allowed me to bring in catered food and decorate if I wanted to. Not to mention the ambiance was low dim lighting but good enough to see. Fully stocked cocktail bar also with a few good beers on tap like Alagash my favorite.

The service was top-notch, and I was especially pleased with the bottle service. I decided to splurge on a Classe Azul tequila bottle, which cost me $600, but it was worth every penny. The staff was attentive and ensured my guests, and I were well cared for throughout the night.

Parking was a breeze as well. While valet parking is not available from the business. The business next door was nice enough to allow me to park in the back, but I had to ask beforehand if it was allowed, and they kindly obliged. This was perfect because it made delivering the catered food a breeze from "Top Restaurant," which I highly recommend!

On Fridays, they have a DJ starting at 8PM, and while there were some technical difficulties that night and he was a bit late, it didn't dampen our spirits. Overall, but is why I'm giving it a 4 star rating. I had a fantastic time at The Famous and would highly recommend it for any special occasion or night out with friends.

Went there to celebrate one of my good friend's birthday last Thursday. What a blast!! The atmosphere was fun, the bartender was amazing!!! Everyone was having a wonderful time. The drinks were excellent and they also have water easily available on the side for self serve. There is pay parking up front, and there is also a parking structure right behind (90 minutes free, $1 every 30 minutes). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Not usually a bar person but came to support a friend who was performing for a music event night.
Had a few drinks myself, parking isn't the worst in the area and it's in Glendale which is a nice area to visit.
They do multiple types of events here and this was my first experience at the famous bar.
I'll definitely be back, the vibes were great, and a singer I'm quite familiar with happened to show up randomly
I got to see two singers I liked.
My only critique was the struggle to get a drink ordered but it was very busy and it seemed like a less than normally staffed night so I'll forgive that one small negative.

Pleasantly surprised last night at The Famous Bar, tried this spot last night for the first time, DJ A-Lex was on point, bartenders Suzy and Megan were friendly and attentive as well as manager Bianca, definitely recommend for a great night out with friends or a girls night out, good times and great memories

Stylish, upscale bar on Brand in downtown Glendale that is perfect for nighttime vibes, The Famous was a delightful spot for us to make a final stop before retreating to the hotel. We grabbed gin and tonics at the bar and found lounge seating where we chilled, drank, and watched the people bantering around us.

It was a Thursday evening when we went to The Famous, where it wasn't packed wall-to-wall, but there was a good crowd. I think there was some bachelor's party or something in the back, which could have explained the delay in obtaining our tab from the bar. Also, I think only two bartenders were working, which probably should have been one more from the crowd, but it was a Thursday night.

Regardless, The Famous will deliver on the drinks and the good vibes. I got a kick out of being told by the bouncer he needed to see my ID despite my gray hairs! That made me chuckle quite a bit. I guess I'm not that old... yet!

Good atmosphere, good drinks, good prices, nice staff. Solid place to get happy hour or a could drinks on a chill night.
