Tuxedo Express

£2.50 for a shirt!!! They don't do any sort of deals.
The only thing this place will offer you is if you want something done over night.... but i don't need it until next week.. TOO BAD YOU GET IT TOMORROW!

This place is dreadful - not least because they are unbelievably rude and dismissive. The main girl who runs it literally never smiles and even when you are beaming at her and trying to have a nice conversation. When I took my dress to be fixed, two people prodded at it lazily and then decided they didn't know what to do with it after 10 mins but I could pay them to try. It was an expensive bridesmaid dress and the man stained it with his oily hand cream. Needless to say I left and took the dress with me. Unbelievable. Avoid!

I used this cleaners when I was staying at The Savoy Hotel for the London 2012 Olympics. The price for service at The Savoy was through the roof, so the concierge recommended we try Tuxedo Express. It was a short and pleasant walk away, so we gave it a shot. I must confess that while the prices were kinder to our wallet than the hotel, they weren't THAT much better. I dropped off a few dress shirts for starching and ended up taking my bulk laundry down the street and around the corner to a coin-op launderette. That said, the clothes they did finish for us had a delightful fresh aroma ;-)

Needed some alterations done.

Went to the back of the shop where they take measurements. A rundown place with some unhappy people around. The immigration service should take a look here.

They guy who measured doesn't speak English. They pinned my clothes in such a way that would ruin a suit worth hundreds of pounds. I was reluctant to leave my clothes with them. When I told the token blonde at the front I got vacant looks and a very nonsensical argumentative attitude.

As I was about to leave along comes the manager getting all aggressive claiming that i was wasting their time. At that point he knew he had lost my business already.

I would not recommend this lot, they seem to have no standards whatsoever and have damaged expensive clothes then deny all responsibility.
