Great food and ambience.
Set meal was excellent with great tasting dim sum. We asked for steamed fish instead of the prawns as one of the main dishes and George(our waiter) couldn't have been happier to oblige. Mark(the manager) always looked after us.
Very good, prompt and friendly service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daniel H.Writtle, United Kingdom02035 Apr 2015
Fantastic restaurant. Brilliant night.
The food was excellent - we went for the 2nd set menu which was really nice and plenty to share between 2 people.
The service was good. There was a piano player which was good and created a nice atmosphere.
100% would go here again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Thi N.Coventry, United Kingdom64693625 Apr 2017
The venue is massive 2 stories, decor is modern with luxury seating, there are Sunday Jazz nights, and service perks like a finger bowl to clean your fingers and a hot napkin at the end. I love seeing the diverse staff and Mark who are always working hard. Service is the perfect amount of attentive and and accommodating without being too abrasive. Food is set apart from other restaurants in Chelmsford because it actually has good flavors unlike a lot of restaurants that leave their dishes unseasoned. This place is perfect for people who are adventurous eaters- those who enjoy flavorful dishes, Chinese and seafood. Some of my favorite dishes are the chili chicken, the soft shell crab, and duck salad. They also have an array of wine and yummy dessert cocktails. I recommend the deep fried ice cream and the Toblerone cocktail. The spacious venue and dim lit atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing dinner

Great food, delicious actually. The atmosphere was a bit quiet but that's not the fault of the restaurant. Lovely range on the menu - it is a little pricey so I go here for special occasions.

This is 3.5 star rating if i could put it in the rating area. Nicely decorated and has a live performer with saxophone the night we go there. It is located in a small street , street parking only. From outside , not very impressive. Service is a bit on the slow side even though it is not very busy. The food in general is good though. My favourite is pork stew with yum. Sweet and sour pork and assam prawn are OK. Mapo tofu, i have tasted better with better pricing. quite clean.

Excellent food, nice varied menu. A very classy restaurant complete with automated grand piano! Part of the Hoyzen group of restaurants, the quality is high and surroundings are excellent. However the service is a let down, very slack laid back staff, we booked a table for 9.15 and our main course arrived at 11.15. Without any apology from the manager. The English waitress's had no idea as to the menu content and had to refer to their managers constantly. The service and lack of parking reduce this to a 3 star. A real waste, however easily the best restaurant in Chelmsford. Give it a try if you have a couple of hours to kill.
